Congratulations to our November 2014 Best Splash Challenge Winner!

Well done to Glenn Smith of NSW for his creative BEST SPLASH video and his local Daisy Expert Cronulla Pool Perfection.

 

Young dad and new pool owner, Glenn Smith, was the lucky winner of the November prize, a latest GoPro Hero4 Black Edition camera, for his excellent slow motion video! Check it out.

Glenn won the 1st prize not only for his creativity but also by having the most number of likes!He loves his new pool, his back yard parties and now, his new GoPro camera.

“It’s a great promotion, thanks Daisy. I was on the Daisy website looking for a pool cover and saw the promo,” shares Glenn.

What inspired you to enter? We had a bit of a pool party so thought I would set up my camera and have some fun with it.

When did you get your new pool and are you looking at getting a pool cover? I have only had my pool finished for just over a month now! I will have to get a Daisy pool cover after Christmas.

December Best Splash Challenge has kicked off

The December #bestsplashchallenge has kicked off on Facebook and Instagram. It’s the second of the three month Challenge with November being a cracker with excellent photos and videos.

Choosing a winner was tough. We’ll soon be sharing a photo of our creative November winner receiving their GoPro Hero Black Edition camera along with our winning Daisy retailer who is delighted as he just won a new customer!! Stay tuned!

It’s looking, a lot like, Christmas…

Last pre-Christmas orders and Chrissy Opening times

Right about now is always a mad time of year when we all want everything before Christmas.

Daisy is here to help! To get your Christmas deliveries on time, you can order right up to the 17th December and we’ll have it ready for dispatch on 19th December. Of course, don’t leave it till the last moment as it’s heating up!

If you miss the deadline – don’t worry! All orders received will still be processed, manufactured and dispatched all over the Christmas period in our usual time frame.

Later orders in most metro areas will still be delivered before the jolly man slides down the chimney however will depend on the efficiency of courier companies during the rush of course! Normal deliveries should resume from 5th January 2015.

Entry level above-ground rollers

Daisy’s latest UTCAG above-ground rollers offer your customers an easy to use, entry level range to choose from.

Its innovative design is flexible to both the type of pool and size. It simply sits on the above-ground pool deck and you’re set to roll up the cover.

It features special anti-skid plugs so the roller will not move when used. For your customer, it’s user friendly and easy to remove and store.

They have been designed with a 75mm adaptor sleeve which converts the 50mm crank enabling it to hold a 75mm tube set.

A message from Daisy’s Managing Director – getting into digital

I’d like to share some thoughts on the importance of marketing to your network and building a digital community around you.

91% of adults have their mobile phones within arms reach 24/7 and are accessing the internet through their mobiles to help with their buying decision.
It’s no wonder the trend for delivering targeted messages to the user’s mobile is continuing to grow. It’s relevant, timely and just plain clever.  Are you visible to your customers? Can your customers find you when they search you on their phone? If they are on their way to see you and can’t find you, then chances are you may miss out on their business. The old adage remains true: if you don’t look after your customer, someone else will.

Be visible, be accessible, be seen… then you will be the one looking after everyone else’s customers. Have an internet presence and make sure your customer can find you. A great way is to test it – try to be your customer and look for yourself.

Facebook is an ideal way to interact with your customers but it is not a set and forget static site –  you do have to post on it regularly to keep it relevant and fresh for your audience.

To enter, participants simply take a cool photo or video of their BEST SPLASH and hashtag it with #bestsplashchallenge. They can upload it to the Daisy Pool Covers Facebook page and/ or Instagram. By doing this, their BEST SPLASH will stand a chance to win the latest Black Edition GoPro Hero camera. There’s one to be won each month.

There’s also a grand prize! The overall winner will win $2000 worth of pool maintenance and supplies from their local Daisy Expert – it could be you! Daisy will fund this and you’ll get the winner, publicity and business if they live near you.

No Price Rise for Daisy Quality Products

Good news for you… our hard work has paid off!

We’re pleased to advise there is no price rise for Daisy domestic and commercial covers and rollers AGAIN this year.

We have been working hard to maintain last year’s prices as part of our commitment to supplying you and your customers with Daisy Quality products at competitive prices.

Helping you sell more, more easily! Despite incurring raw material price rises and the ever increasing freight charges, we are able to maintain our prices to you for our core products through our work operationally. It’s all about continuous improvement to keep us as #1 in Australia.

In the next month however, we will have to increase only the Berlin and Venice roller prices (and WA Showcase install) – we’ll let you know the details soon.
