Congratulations to our November 2014 Best Splash Challenge Winner!

Well done to Glenn Smith of NSW for his creative BEST SPLASH video and his local Daisy Expert Cronulla Pool Perfection.

 

Young dad and new pool owner, Glenn Smith, was the lucky winner of the November prize, a latest GoPro Hero4 Black Edition camera, for his excellent slow motion video! Check it out.

Glenn won the 1st prize not only for his creativity but also by having the most number of likes!He loves his new pool, his back yard parties and now, his new GoPro camera.

“It’s a great promotion, thanks Daisy. I was on the Daisy website looking for a pool cover and saw the promo,” shares Glenn.

What inspired you to enter? We had a bit of a pool party so thought I would set up my camera and have some fun with it.

When did you get your new pool and are you looking at getting a pool cover? I have only had my pool finished for just over a month now! I will have to get a Daisy pool cover after Christmas.

December Best Splash Challenge has kicked off

The December #bestsplashchallenge has kicked off on Facebook and Instagram. It’s the second of the three month Challenge with November being a cracker with excellent photos and videos.

A message from Daisy’s Managing Director – getting into digital

I’d like to share some thoughts on the importance of marketing to your network and building a digital community around you.

91% of adults have their mobile phones within arms reach 24/7 and are accessing the internet through their mobiles to help with their buying decision.
It’s no wonder the trend for delivering targeted messages to the user’s mobile is continuing to grow. It’s relevant, timely and just plain clever.  Are you visible to your customers? Can your customers find you when they search you on their phone? If they are on their way to see you and can’t find you, then chances are you may miss out on their business. The old adage remains true: if you don’t look after your customer, someone else will.

Be visible, be accessible, be seen… then you will be the one looking after everyone else’s customers. Have an internet presence and make sure your customer can find you. A great way is to test it – try to be your customer and look for yourself.

Facebook is an ideal way to interact with your customers but it is not a set and forget static site –  you do have to post on it regularly to keep it relevant and fresh for your audience.

To enter, participants simply take an awesome photo or video of their BEST SPLASH and hashtag it with #bestsplashchallenge. They can upload it to the Daisy Pool Covers Facebook page and/ or Instagram. By doing this, their BEST SPLASH will stand a chance to win the latest Black Edition GoPro Hero camera. Daisy Makes a Splash!

The team at Daisy made a great SPLASH! at the largest pool and spa trade show in Australia, held 16-17th July!

There was strong national and international representation from a range of sectors at the Show; from retailers right through to builders and designers.

Our Daisy representatives and territory managers, Brett, Lee and John, manned the Daisy booth over the two-day Show. They were kept busy with lots of visitors interested in all that’s new at Daisy, with our Daisy Power electricrollers proving popular. There was also lots of interest in learning about our unique technology behind what seems to be a humble pool cover and roller!

Overall sentiment from Show goers on the upcoming season was positive. With the summer ahead, we’re looking forward to a great season with Aussie families loving their pools!
